I'm just home from a sudden short stay due to Sepsis. Despite the high demands at this time of year due to covid/flu/novovirus i have to say my care was excellent. I was given prompt attention in A&E and all staff treat me with care and respect. The hospital was clean and felt well run and organised. Thank you RDGH

Absolutely unacceptable. My elderly mother was admitted with severe abdominal pain and persistent vomiting. The nursing staff provided excellent care, and as a medical professional myself, I appreciated their efforts. After a week of pain management, the doctors agreed that further diagnostic evaluation was necessary, as she still could not eat and continued to suffer from significant abdominal pain. A gastrointestinal examination and an MRI were planned and medically indicated β€” yet neither was carried out. Instead, and without completing the required diagnostics, my mother was suddenly discharged, still in severe pain and unable to eat. Under the prescribed pain medication, her condition deteriorated further. After only three days at home, she had to be readmitted to the hospital. This is deeply disappointing and, frankly, shameful. Sending a vulnerable patient home without completing essential diagnostics is not acceptable. I will closely monitor how the situation develops over the next few days before submitting a official complaint

Was sent to Sdec dept by 111. Amazing staff so friendly work long hard shifts. Was there 7 hrs but they were lovely gave us free hot drinks sandwiches biscuits. Dr and nurses did an amazing job. Could do with some kind of film or tv programme on thr tv Was bit boring sat and watched the same adverts over and over, even if it's just the news. Treated with kindness and respect by everyone. Not the place I wanted to be but very nice. Thank you to all who work there. 100% star.

I am not local to the area but I went into minor injuries unit with a fractured ankle. The staff were accommodating especially the nurse who reviewed my x-rays. It took under two hours on a Saturday morning to get the help I needed and be home again. Extremely empathetic, timely and efficient. Grateful for this service, during this emergency.

Try phoning B11. Joke. Absolutely disgusting, 36 calls in a 24 hour period. No one picks up and then line cuts off. At least the switchboard apologises, but its just not on when trying to find out about an elderly relative especially when i live two hours away. On the one and only time I managed to get through usual excuses, staff are busy, nurse is doing the medications, it's the ward round. Can I call back. Not good enough. The NHS is finished.
