American Professional Nails

So I went for gel acrylics. The acrylic is nice but a bit un even/bumpy in places. It was £30 so not the cheapest but not the most expensive. The guy started cutting the acrylic then asked the shape, I told him and he said no he couldn't do that because of some reason or other the masks worn make it hard to cummincate. But that's unavoidable. The guy who did my nails was nice, no small talk or communication but did check that I was happy at the end and smiled. So friendly enough. Personally I go to relax and prefer a bit of conversation so will be going elsewhere. That and I don't carry cash. I had a cut on my finger that had scabbed and didn't cause any issues, until it got caught by the file again unavoidable. Although did make me cringe when he just whipped my blood away with his finger and carried on. Ive had these done for a holiday so I hope they last, after reading a review my friend found on the way home I'm a little nervous. At the end I went to pay and was told cash only and that I had to leave my phone and go get cash, this was the first thing that had been said to me since I sat down, I asked if I could leave something else as wasn't that comfortable leaving my phone but the receptionist became agitated and as a heavily pregnant woman I didn't want the stress so I left my phone and got the cash. I returned with cash and everyone was happy, and i got my phone back. Would go back if needed something last minute in a pinch but won't be a regular customer. 3/5* - 1 star for the cash issue, - 1 star for bumpyness and the general vibe. An update 3 hours later and its already chipped. I've literally took a nap that's it. Look closely at the pics, its uneven, bubbled, messed up cuticles etc Update - within less than a week they had lifted

All the females in my family have been here at one time or another over the last 15 years for our nails done, Vicky recently did my daughters nails for prom, she loves them, all the staff always do a brilliant job and always try to replicate any designs we want.

Did a good job, in reasonable time. Were friendly to me. However make sure you bring id if you are a student otherwise they will try and charge you more. (Travel pass etc)

Im really sad to have to write this i come hear to get pedicure my first time this year since last year. I asked for french manicure I was very upset the bloke who does my feet constantly doesn't get it correctly done a bodge job today wear iv had to else wear to get the french manicure corrected so it costed me twice as much as it should off also he didnt have the correct colour I wanted I asked for squared not rounded I only paid 30 ther lucky I even paid that tbh he asked me not to come again iv found new nail shop who will do my nails correctly.

I have been coming here since I was about 17 I'm now 33 I always have vicky the owner do my nails but they are all good at doing them that's just my preference as I have known her for so many years there really frendy always say hii wen you walk through the door really fair prices considering I have had my acrylics on for about 2 years straight now I am a nail technician my self and everything they do there is to the best quality highly recommend may cost a couple of pounds more but it worth every penny
