Whitworth Pharmacy

Came in today to get my prescription. Wonderfully greeted by the amazing Isabel and the staff at the back were also brilliant. The two dispensers at the back got the job done in no time. Recommend this pharmacy to everyone and the staff deserve more recognition. GREAT WORK

CAn someone please explain to me what they are doing behind the counter once they have got my medication off the shelf. I pre ordered my prescription a week ago , went to collect it. It had not been made up so was asked to wait a few minutes while it was made up . 25 minutes later I was still waiting , there were 3 staff on. They did my husbands and gave it to me , I had to remind them I needed mine as well. So had to wait a little longer. I know they have to record what they dispense but what takes 25 minutes when there was only 1 other person that needed the same service as me . Everyone else that came in their prescriptions were ready .

Nearly every repeat prescription presents a problem. Keep getting sent back to Surgery with dosage/availability issues. Surgery solve it eventually, shaking their heads saying its Pharmacy's fault.

Poor service from Joanne. Very rude and standoffish. Understand the pressures of working in a pharmacy, but very abrupt tone and attitude. Customers coming in to ask if their prescription is ready after just visiting the doctors, her response is “not ready sorry”. Instead of maybe tailoring that and advising to come back at a specific time or day, irrespective of staffing issues or not. I’ll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere, as well as the rest of my family.

On a good day, most of the staff are grumpy. On a bad day they can be downright rude and unpleasant. We now have our prescriptions dispensed elsewhere
