Broom Lane Post Office

The older gent has zero customer service skills. Comes across as arrogant and condescending the few times I’ve been forced to use them. I won’t be visiting them again.

The male worker really put me down. He was quite rude to start off with. He then started shaking his head because my parcel wasn’t wrapped “correctly”. He could have used some tape if it was that much of a big deal for him. At the end of the day, if you don’t enjoy your work then please move on and find your happiness in another job. No need to add negativity in our lives.

Really poor customer service and really rude staff. I paid for check and sent passport service and got a letter back anyway saying that the photo was too close and i needed to send a new one. I got to the counter and asked very politely if I could get a refund on the service as it wasn't checked properly and then another member of staff (I think the manager) who was serving another customer just stopped what she was doing and ignored her customer to very rudely tell me I can't have a refund. I was in shock that she just interrupted when I was speaking with another assistant, she didn't even let him speak. If I was the other customer she was dealing with I would have been really annoyed! She wasn't even polite about it, just said if its within three weeks you're not getting a refund, not even an apology for not checking it properly. I won't be using that post office again. I never normally leave reviews but this really annoyed me!

Miserable and rude owner. Never speaks, makes eye contact or smiles. He once grabbed my phone out of my hand while I was holding up the QR code on the screen - without asking permission at all - and then went into settings and altered the brightness. This was at the height of Covid too. I was stood there absolutely shocked!! I always go to a different post office now.

My 84 year old mother went in to withdraw £20. She then went to the corner shop to purchase some items to be politely told the £20 was a fake. Went back to post office to inform him (the Asian bloke) that he had minutes earlier given her a fake £20 note. Obviously he denied it. Any notes withdrawn from this place,make sure you check them. Or better still, go somewhere else.
