Taylors Removals & Storage

Taylor’s moved us from West Yorkshire to Scotland over a couple of days. They were at the first property early doors and from the off they grafted all day, our possessions were carefully packed floor to ceiling and I was amazed that our possessions fitted into two vans. They set off early the next day and arrived about midday as I was arriving. We’d packed and labelled most of our boxes so everything was where it was supposed to go; the heavier stuff was manhandled into where it was going without fuss. Three men day one and a different three man team the following day, all of whom were polite and professional and hardworking. Nothing broke and I was delighted with the service provided. Job well done.

We chose Taylor's for our recent house move from Nottinghamshire to East Yorkshire and the staff were excellent from the moment they arrived at our door until the time they left us. They arrived promptly and worked very hard throughout the day to ensure all our possessions arrived damage free. I can wholeheartedly recommended this Company.

Also go under the name of Specialised Removals. I would never use these guys again. The guy came to see us and was really friendly, advising us about hidden charges other companies have, and how they are not like that, just an honest reliable firm. We were advised that the insurance wasn't a major issue, if they damaged something they would sort it. Fast forward to a £700 leather chair and £100 office chair that got damaged and things change. Firstly they get the insurance company to point you to the small print saying you get a maximum return of £40 per item. Then advise the damage was already there, and was pointed out to us at the time. An absolute fabrication. This company may be a bit cheaper but have zero ethics and it will cost you in the long run. Don't be fooled by the Mr Nice smoke screen. The chair that was new to the house and only moved for cleaning must have been done while hoovering. It's robbery is what it is.

Great quote. Easy booking. Arrived on time. Great bunch of lads. Can’t believe how quick they emptied our house. The only down side was a bit of damage to one bedside cabinet,, I’ve just not contacted as it’s not really visible from where we have the cabinet. Would have been 5 star without damage

This the second time we have used Taylors. From initial quote to leaving us at our new house, they were very professional and personable. They provided loads of boxes. No problems booking a date, they turned up early on the day and removed our belongings with care. On completion day, there was a delay but there was no problem waiting. We have not found any damage goods. A great service and will use again. Also, a very competitive price. Thanks.
