Footasylum Rotherham

I had a really disappointing experience at this store. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful from the moment I walked in. I asked a simple question and was met with attitude and eye-rolling, as if I was inconveniencing them just by being there. The member of management had dark long hair and the staff member had ginger hair, stood talking and discussing other members of staff and personal life. There was no sense of customer service — no greeting, no offer to assist, nothing and horrifically rude, It felt like they didn’t want customers at all. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone. I’d suggest getting new management, who actually want to be there.

I had a disappointing experience at Footasylum recently. When I asked one of the sales assistants to check a shoe size, he seemed uninterested and instead looked to his colleague to handle it. Throughout my visit, he was loudly laughing and joking around with other staff members, which made the environment feel unprofessional. When his colleague later asked if I wanted to purchase Crep Protect, I politely said I already had some. The first assistant then laughed and clapped loudly, which felt unnecessary and left me feeling uncomfortable. His overall attitude lacked any basic customer service skills. To add to the poor experience, I was browsing trainers for quite a while, and not a single staff member approached me to ask if I needed any help. The whole visit felt like customer service was an afterthought. Definitely not the level of customer service I expected from Footasylum. The sales assistant was black with braides and this was at the Rotherham store Parkgate 31/08/25.

5 star experience at Foot Asylum, Parkgate. I found the staff to be very helpful, one member took me to show me where to find an item. She also went into the back to look for a specific size for me. Would definitely recommend.

Just had an amazing experience at this store today. I want to specifically mention Aidan, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently answered all my questions about the different trainers, he went out of his way to make sure I found exactly what I needed. I was so impressed with his level of service and I am highly satisfied with my trainers. He deserves recognition for doing such a wonderful job. Thanks again 😃

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid This Store! I had the worst experience at this store. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I was looking to buy a pair of pink Converse shoes as a Christmas gift for my daughter. After asking for her size, the assistant disappeared briefly before returning to say they were sold out. I then asked if I could purchase the display pair, but she curtly replied, "We don't have it." Her attitude was dismissive, and she seemed more interested in provoking a reaction than assisting me. She went on to explain, in a condescending tone, that they "pick and choose" shoe sizes to sell, meaning someone else had likely bought the shoe before me. It felt like they were making excuses rather than trying to find a solution. To make matters worse, any other pair I asked to try on was also unavailable. Thankfully, I managed to order the shoes elsewhere. Avoid this store at all costs—terrible customer service and an awful experience!
