Brentwood Hotel

Went on 3/1/26 had table booked for 30 we arrived plenty of time before all the others to order food so our 20 month old granddaughter wasn't getting fed up with waiting , we placed our order for 4 adults and 1 child , everyone else arrived placed theres and we couldn't believe it i had to ask staff twice where our food was she said maybe because it was mixed grill it was taking longer, but a few in our party who had ordered 20 mins after us was already eating theres. When it did come out about 1hr after placing the order my 20 month old granddaughter's had a frozen corn on the cob which staff did change but absolutely disgraceful we also heard another customer say the same a little later used to love eating here but its definitely put me off .

This year for Christmas, me and my mum decided to come here for our Christmas Dinner. Absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, very friendly team of staff, they delivered service with a smile! Very impressed with everything! Thank you so much to the lovely team of staff! You all have been amazing ❤️

Fom Gareth Kershaw I cannot thank all the staff here enough from management to bar staff, reception, housekeeping etc , you all went above and beyond on my unexpected visit for a few nights due to daughter being rushed into the hospital nearby. The breakfast plus evening meal excellent and the price really good,Nice bar with great atmosphere so couldnt fault it. Thank you so much for giving me the NHS discounts for my room and food, very kind touch. Rooms very comfy, clean and perfect for my needs. 10 out of 10 stay. wishing you all a Happy New year and will see you all soon next time I'm staying in Rotherham (hopefully for better reason!) as wouldnt stay anywhere else

Good place to stay near Sheffield Utilita Arena. Supertram Public Transport to city and arena via Rotherham Station about 10 minutes down the road via car. Good experience, really good value. Parking in front is convenient. And was easy to get into Sheffield with the station further in town. NOTE: Only thing is that you stay in the less nice looking annex just next to the main building. But they are completely fine rooms and servicible. Not the best, but good enough for a short stay.

Cheap and cheerful. It's a great old building that needs a good dose of TLC to bring it back to what it should be. The bed was comfy and I slept well, but the room was dated. It's a cheap hotel that could be much more. The staff were good and very helpful, even when I needed to change my booking and get a refund, no problems. But the place is lacking investment.
