Carlton Park Hotel Rotherham

The hotel has potential but is let down by several ongoing issues. Noise is a major problem, with loud guests partying late at night and early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep. Some staff members are unhelpful or rude, especially when responding to complaints. Room cleanliness is inconsistent, and despite frequent weekly bookings, upgrades were given without request and later used as an excuse when asking for a fair price match. Overall, the stay feels uncomfortable due to the combination of noise, cleanliness concerns, and unprofessional service.

TBH, if you want to just sleep for four or five hours and then lthis is about as good as you will get. I paid like £45 so you get an idea. It would be no surprise if the hotel closed down whilst you were sleeping or out in the town. I got an email before hand, saying they wanted a deposit of £50, but based on the gent on reception, its only if they think you look dodgy. Anyway the room had seen better days, the hot water was luke warm, and the double bed was two singles pushed together. To be fair for the five hours in the room it was deadly silent, so not sure if it was completely empty or everyone had die in their sleep.

For the money was ok, rooms are nothing special literally is somewhere to get some sleep bedding and towels were clean, toilet had a pungent smell as I dont think they have been used in a while. Wallpaper next to double bed was coming away from wall. Room was quiet. In serious need of some tlc throughout whole hotel. Doesn't have a very welcoming feeling to it. Only saw staff when booking in both were friendly is open 24hrs and can just walk in and out as door open. Stayed here after work party but not recommended for couples/families, used to be used for weddings and functions years ago now a shadow of it's former self. Hopefully they can turn this place around.

No towels,dirty,extremely uncomfortable bed. Paid for double bed and got room with 2 singles pushed together. Couldn’t adjust shower temperature as it was stuck on hot.fit and finish very poor, would class this as a 1 star.

I recently stayed at Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything I needed. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I could ask for a great mix of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended to all.
