I would have scored much higher but it would be unfair for those who visit rotherham to promote this establishment as a suitable dwellings on any occasion. Please please whatever you do avoid a stay here. I promise that you will thank me and I wish you the warmest of welcomes to our multiracial town. Keep your belongings at your side and try your best to select a location that will make you want to return to south Yorkshire. Just not POW I plead you. Fare thee well good folk

Close the the motorway, rotherham town centre and shopping centres and football ground makes this a great place to stay. The bar is well stocked, the rooms which have just been refurbished are very well presented. The land lady is friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Friday and satirday nights are music and karaoke which is professionally run and well set up. The pool table is well cared for and set up to professional standards. Beer garden is quiet and nice place for summer days.

Budget hotel that as budget hotels go is not bad. Rooms are clean, carpets are well above average for hotels in this price range, hallsways etc very clean. The hotel accommodation smells nice and there's no signs of damp. VERY DIFFERENT from some budget hotels I've stayed in!!! The bar is lively full of character and has an authentic atmosphere. Staff are exactly as you would expect in an old fashioned "local". Unfortunately the area is not the most upmarket with the usual NIMBY type of strife. All in all I would recommend this place as if you want a honest down to earth pub and need somewhere to stay that won't break the bank

I feel some reviews are quite harsh , I have a very keen sense of smell and this hotel did not have a bad smell to it at all .it is not an all singing all dancing posh hotel it is an old building with creaky floorboards , its décor is very different throughout it has a film and music theme around the bar and very helpful and friendly staff .willing to order taxis for you and when we said we hadn't eaten the land lady ordered pizza's for us to eat in at night. the bar is stocked well with many selections .my stay was one night for two people at £46.00, it is very close to the arena for show nights . could not have enjoyed the stay any more . decent price comfortable and clean
