When we arrived on our first day and evening here the member of staff named Annie, was a really great member of staff couldn't do enough for our stay to make us feel comfortable and welcome!! On the second day I met Matt part of the night crew who was really nice to get along with also was there to give us help on multiple of ways. Also the cleaning team was really nice also knocked on to ask if we needed anything which is a big bonus this included fresh towels not that we needed them but never the less it's nice to be asked... Had a really nice stay at the hotel. Certainly up there with the holiday inn but by far is better than the hotels on moor gate road!! Although there's no food to buy at this hotel there is a nice pub further up the road alongside a reasonable priced vending machine in the hotel. The staff here are really nice. Will be staying again I highly recommend this to anyone!! Although a bit of the downside was the pool/ spa next door expect for one day pass to use the pool or facilities there was wanting £22.50 each plus a fee for the use of their lockers too. That's £45.00 for the two of you what a total rip off although this wasn't a fault of THE WELCOME INN total bonkers for a day pass especially when you consider there monthly unlimited use of the pool and spa is £49.00 per month so basically working out the day pass yes it's cheaper for a monthly pass but this would only be good if we was to use the facilities more than just the stay in the hotel. But all considered highly recommend stopping at this hotel for sure!!! Thanks!!

Stayed here as was up here for an event in the area. Price for the room was good so no complaints and has a large car park tgat was good as our van isn't the smallest. Main street sign was easy missed as we arrived at night and its not lite up and hidden by the trees. Staff were ok but no interaction, straight to business "here are your keys, top floor lift not working". Yes, the lift wasnt working so lucky we were not people that struggle with the stairs. The rooms were nice abd tidy and look like a typical chain hotel room. Few gripes though, heating didnt work and no bed side lights, only bright main lights so no good if obe person doesn't want to go bed yet. Also if the bathroom lights are on, the fan in there is fairly loud in the bedroom. Still, got good nights sleep and not expensive so cant complain.

Lovely room. The lift wasn't working and I can't manage stairs, but we got a family downstairs room at the sane price as a twin room.. was6a problem at all. Very friendly reception staff.

I stayed at this hotel very last minute, needing a hotel close to Hooten Lodge Farm. This was about a 15 minute drive away. In terms of the room it was quite dated. It was clean, not the comfiest bed but also not the worst I have slept on. The only plug socket I could use was the one by the kettle, which is my only dissapointment. The bathroom was clean with a decent enough shower. The hotel was quiet, not many people around, and a good night sleep was had. The aircon working would have been amazing! I popped down to reception to borrow a usb plug and they were happy to assist. Plenty shops and petrol stations near by.
