What a great traditional local Pub selling great Beers (Black Sheep) and Food. The Landlord Mark is a great character and is extremely helpful in sharing his knowledge of the Local area. If you don’t fancy any food on his Menu then he invites you to get Fish & Chips from the Chippy over the road and eat them in his Pub…..👌🏻💯
Best landlord in North Yorkshire! Friendly environment, fire warm and Great Dane Hector the loveliest boy! Would recommend to anyone that loves an old school pub with good banter, dogs and great beer! Thank you very much for your time! Love from me, my uncle, my dad and my grandad and Sammy the border collie dog.
Visited here last month late evening, I had just missed the place up the road as they had stopped serving. The service here was absolutely fantastic, nothing was a bother. The bloke fired the ovens back up to make this for me. I really enjoyed it. I stayed for a few drinks and had a chilled evening. Thanks again from me and my cocker spaniel Oscar. Top service.
We have been to Hinderwell 3 times now and found this wonderful pub the first time we visited. The landlord is amazing and makes everyone who walks in feel welcome. Good selection of alcohol at reasonable prices. Plus he is an amazing cook. The curry's are lovely and the chips are to die for. Look forward to visiting again
Fantastic little pub, tried the other pub in the village and that seemed to be more geared towards locals. From first setting foot in the brown cow we were welcomed as was Nina the Rhodesian Ridgeback and much fuss was made of her. Sadly didn’t get to try the food but looked and smelt fantastic, will certainly be calling back in during the next few months. Mac and Nina
