What a lovely find! Super little tearoom with friendly staff. Lots of yummy choices and quick service with reasonable prices. Loved the china crockery and the tea cosies! My toasty was delicious and came served with a fresh salad and crisps. Would recommend this gem
A hidden gem. The pubs round here are often not serving food. Found this place and so glad we did. Toasties and home made soup and scones were delicious. Coffee nice too. Lovely lady gave us a warm welcome and treats for our 3 dogs. Service great. Sat outside in a lovely hut. Will return soon.
We just love this village cafe! We have been about 5 times now and never been disappointed. We are not local but now always make sure we call in when we are up this neck of the woods. It has such a lovely atmosphere! It's like a cosy village hall. Spotlessly clean and the ladies running it are so welcoming whether you are a local or a visitor. Talking about locals there were plenty of locals in using the cafe which is always a good sign! We had a flat white, latte, coffee cake ( I always do and can highly recommend it!!) and a raspberry frangipane. All delicious! There is a real cross section of food on the menu from a bacon or sausage butty to Bhudda's Bowl! And lots of cakes and scones to chose from. Lovely little gift shop at the back with locally made goods. Check the opening times and just be aware that they are not open on a Saturday. Would I recommend here? Without doubt!
What a little gem we found here. Lots to choose from on the menu.. very pleasant and helpful staff...a thoroughly great place to stop off for some lovely food. We had definitely the best Ploughman's Lunch that we had ever had anywhere. Absolutely delicious. Many thanks..we will be back the next time we are in the area.
What a fantastic find! We walked up the coast path from Staithes to Port Mulgrave, and stopped in Hinderwell on the way back via Dales Beck. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and happy to answer our questions. We had the blueberry and lemon scones served with lemon curd. They were baked by the staff and absolutely delicious! We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a bite to eat with a delightful feeling of community. There are some lovely crafts and cards on sale too!
