£5 all day parking. A very steep walk to and from the beach.
The prices are rather steep, but the difficulty of payment was such that one older couple had been trying to pay for, they said, some 20 minutes. I heard a few folks muttering around the payment machine, which in the blessed past accepted cards. Now it's either by coins, or by Ringo app or phone: and there is a processing fee I guess since the price hiked. I lacked the cash; my daughter had the app, and made the payment. The cars are a little cramped, but the more sardines, the higher the profits, I guess.
This car park is managed and run by Scarborough borough Council. It is open 24 hours. Charges are applied seven days a week between 9 am and 6 pm. These charges are only applicable between the 1st of March and 31st of October. Ensure you use the far car park as an alternate car park that is run by Mulgrave Estates is located just before this one and it is operated by ANPR and charged all year round. Additionally throughout the village yellow lines are only enforce during the period of 21st of march and the 30th of September.
Good spot to park fabulous walks
Can't pay with card and have to pay through the website and there is no mobile signal either. Have to use the wifi provided by then.
