Always a wonderful time. Starboard cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and well equipped with all you need. Jane has thought of absolutely everything! Gorgeous holiday home in the perfect location.

Our trip to Crabapple cottage was amazing. The cottage is cosy, very clean, lots of little touches and an amazing garden which was lovely for our little pooch ‘Baxter’ to run around in. The log fire was a definite bonus and the kitchen is amazing with everything you need and plenty of little extras too. The goodies Jane left went down a treat too. We went on a couple of walks to Runswick Bay following the coastal path going and on our way back took the road route as it was quicker 😂. We also took the coastal walk to Staithes and had a glass of vino sat outside the Cod and Lobster on New Years Eve as it was absolutely packed at just gone 12 noon so would say booking essential. Visited the local butchers in Hinderwell and the pub ‘The Badger and Hound’ pub too. Would like to visit again and perhaps stay in ‘The Starboard’ cottage if coming with more family. Nothing more to say other than ‘Book it’ .

We always love staying here whatever time of year. It’s such a lovely spacious but cosy house, a massive garden (perfect for doggies and kids!) and the perfect location. It has one of the most beautiful beaches and coastal walks two minutes from the front door but it’s also really close for exploring the delights of Sandsend, Whitby, Staithes etc. And there’s lots of great pubs, food and cake places nearby too. Looking forward to staying again soon

I’ve stayed at this cottage three times with my family now over the last two years. It’s an absolutely stunning house with huge garden. Everything is comfortable and Well thought out I really feel like it’s home from home now. Jane always looks after us is super easy to get hold of and responsive. If you’re looking for somewhere that is spacious Beautifully decorated and comfortable for your family, I would highly recommend staying here. There are spaces for two cars on the drive. The walk down to the bay is very steep, but you can easily drive down and get a space in the car park if you go early. We will definitely be back. The walk to Staiths is right next to the pub (a couple of doors down from the house) and I highly recommend!

We love staying at Starboard. Incredible house with the host going above and beyond to make our stay special (this was our second visit this year). The garden is incredible for the kids and they love the trampoline! So close to the beach-lovely memories made and we can’t wait to go back
