What a discovery!! A little Gem of a place…. Great for some tranquility, discovering the Yorkshire coastline and quirky cottages. The Hotel was closed when we went but no doubt will have some amazing views. Public parking available but limited. Public toilets also available at the top of the rescue centre.

Beautiful beach. Drive there early for parking. Beautiful views. Loads of benches. Steepish hill to walk down from parking to the beach. Has toilets only two cubicles. Do expect a little wait when at busy times. When you walk down the steepish hill. On the left is the shop and toilets and small separate beach. Then, to the right, walking down from the parking is a little 5 min walk to the main beach. Beautiful beach. Beautiful cliff edges. Dog friendly beaches, too.

Lovely bay on the north east coast. Well known for fossils particularly ammonites best to visit at low tide to access most areas be wary of unstable cliffs lots of new rockfalls and witnessed a small rockfall during our visit. Car park at beach quite small £4 / two hrs £5.60/ three hrs if full quite a steep climb to top car park. Small coffee shop at beach but pricey advise visitors to take a flask. Lovely beach and views visit recommended

Lovely beach and good to fossil hunt or rick pool but it gets really crowded and when the tide comes in there isn't alot of beach for everyone to get onto. The road down is steep and the car park was full by 9.30am in the Saturday we were there on August because a group were doing a sea kayak tour and course. This apparently is common in the summer at weekends. There are good facilities though - good toilets and a nice cafe

Nice place. Different to Staithes and Robin Hoods bay in that it's less developed as a tourist place. There's a huge bay to walk along, and a couple of pubs. We always park at the top and walk down, as it's STEEP! There's a pub near the bottom that sells good food, and a cafe/shop that sells coffee and ice-cream.
