Whistle Stop

Stayed here for a week and loved it. Very comfortable and good parking with lots of room. Reasonably well equipped with a nice welcome pack. Lucked out with the weather and got lots of walking done with a couple of footpaths in to Whitby very close taking about an hour to walk in.

A fantastic weekend away in Ruswarp in a modern brand new apartment. A gated property with ample parking. The apartment was spacious with 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a large open plan kitchen diner/lounge. The property is situated next to a railway with a steam engine you can catch to Whitby. This is a wonderful sight and not too noisy. The Bridge Inn is located opposite,a lovely pub which serves great beer and a marvellous Sunday lunch. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The local butchers 'Jacksons' is a very short walk from the apartment,serving great breakfast rolls,pies and local meats. All in all a great place to stay and a wonderful base for exploring the local area. I would recommend The Whistlestop to anyone looking for a great place in a great location.

Wot a lovely and comfortable place. Plenty of room and the added bonus was a steam train coming by the window. It was also a lovely friendly pub over the road and a really nice walk into Whitby. Extremely clean. Well looked after .
