Award winning Saltburn Beach

Saltburn on the Map

Saltburn and nearby Marske are both actually called “by-the-sea” – so it’s marked on the map as Saltburn-by-the-sea.

You can find Saltburn just down the coast from Redcar and Markse, and north of Whitby.


Arriving in Saltburn by Train

There is a train station here on the Middlesbrough – Saltburn line, on which this is the final stop, making it accessible for those travelling by rail. Specifically, you’ll change at Darlington if travelling on the East Coast Mainline, to take the Middlesbrough line, and you may change at Middlesbrough too, but it’s a scenic route if taken during the day as it travels down the coast from Redcar, to Marske, and finally to Saltburn, the last stop.
