Throughout the property, the rooms are individually designed in an elegant style using luscious fabrics and furnishings. The two stunning bedrooms are exceedingly comfortable and have Egyptian cotton bed linen to ensure a perfect night’s sleep. They are decedent in decor and lavishly equipped with state of the art technology including Flat screen TV, Docking stations, DAB radio, DVD, CD player (small library available) and complimentary WiFi throughout. Each room also has a gorgeous boutique styled bathroom with Duck Island luxury toiletries and fluffy bathrobes for an added touch of indulgence. Romantics are catered for in the Larkin Room, featuring an opulent 4 poster bed.

Awake to the aroma of freshly baked bread ……. Delicious Award winning breakfasts using local, organic and homemade produce are our specialty. Try our traditional Hearty Yorkshire breakfast to set you up for the day exploring this wonderful area, alternatively Scrambled free range eggs with chives and Smoked Salmon on toasted muffin or Eggs Benedict with Yorkshire Bacon are amongst a selection of items offered on our seasonally changing breakfast menu. Whatever you decide, there is nothing better than awaking to the divine aroma of freshly baked bread which will waft to your bedrooms each morning. All diets happily catered for with advanced notice.

There is a glass day room and snug for guests to lounge in, along with a contemporary garden for when the Yorkshire sun shines. You are encouraged to take your shoes off, relax and make yourself at home.

Boxtree House is located on the outskirts of North Newbald, a quintessentially English village with a babbling beck and charming Inn on the green. Situated in the delightful and unspoiled Yorkshire Wolds, you can walk from the doorstep in quiet Dales as a red kite soars’ overhead or meander through the picturesque Wolds villages as painted by David Hockney. For culture vultures we have Castle Howard, Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Burton Constable waiting to be discovered. Alternatively explore historic towns and cities such as Beverley (8 miles to the east), York and Hull (City of Culture in 2017) all close by.

Excellent location for the Wolds Way National Trail, The Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Trail as well as nature lovers and bird watchers.
