Lovely hour and half walk. As the sign warns you, it is wet and muddy in places. Nice and peaceful when you get to the opposite side of the resovoir to the road. Will definitely do it again soon.
Lovely walk around the reservoir and a sit and watch the sailing boats out on the water. I was surprised to see the orchids in bloom.
Website describes rules for fly fishing here. Fly fishing is not permitted. About time they remove this from their sites and be responsible - people travel large distances for such trips
Great, safe parking place to stop on busy road. Off road and free parking next to footpath access around reservoir. Mobile snack bar open throughout year serving hot drinks and snacks. Good place to stop on a long journey for parking or to walk
Handy stopping place for lunch, there were a other people setting off for walks. On the way out I noticed a sign asking for money for parking.
