Can’t quite understand why the location isn’t addressed by the church’ official name as the cafe is in the church and the church has existed decades before the cafe! St Martin’s on the Hill is unique in that not many such buildings would have Pre-Raphaelite interior windows. The church is tastefully decorated with a beautiful sanctuary area. The cafe might be closed from time to time when services are taking place. Free to visit the church.

A wonderful cafe serving perfect food in a sublime setting! What a lovely way to keep a beautiful church “alive”. The church also has an incredible collection of Raphaelite art. The history of the building is fascinating and tours are available. My food was excellent and the service was charming. I can’t wait to return!
