The coolest church I've ever seen. It has breathtaking views overlooking Scarborough from above, also inside you can have drinks and little snacks 🙏 or you can enjoy comfy sofa while reading or just chilling. For all the literature lovers - there is one whole corner dedicated to Anne Brontë as she's resting on the graveyard nearby. This place is absolutely worth it. 🙏❤️

Beautiful church in Scarborough. When we went the interior was closed but the outside is beautiful and well maintained. It’s a 15 minute uphill walk from town.

Attractive church with the grave of Anne Bronte who died in 1849 at the age of 29. She was the youngest Bronte sister and sho wrote poems and novels. She also worked for six years ss a governess.

Beautiful local church with Anne Bronte's grave in the grounds. Visited on a very sunny day and worth the walk from the north side as the views from the church over Scarborough were great. This church offers cakes and refreshments (and the cakes looked so good) but we had sadly already eaten. Informative information regarding Anne's death in the church and so glad we visited as we both found it delightful and as a family member had recently passed it was a lovely place to reflect and light a candle in their memory. Thank you St Mary's Church.
