The Crescent Hotel good place to stay good helpful staff food and drinks available all day .good location not far from the railway and bus station .shops bars and restaurants in close proximity.
Lovely bar, staff where very friendly and welcoming. We could get a seat with a nice big table, and had great views of the live band. It's not the cheapest of places, but does offer decent value for money.
We went to the monthy Northern soul event and all 4 of us on holiday from Birmingham were really impressed with the quality music and the great , friendly atmosphere. It's brilliant to see that this classic music genre of the 70's is still appreciated and this venue is absolutely perfect .
Called in last night and was made to feel very unwelcome by the barmaid. When I'd been served she left my drink and change at the opposite end of an empty bar. I appreciate hospitality doesn't exist post COVID but this individual needs to change her job.
Cracking pint, good venue, good music. Excellent staff and a credit to the town.
