What a great place. A group of 8 of us with different dietary requirements and we all found lovely food to eat. The games room upstairs is a must, pool, shuffle board, darts and table games. Outside courtyard with tables and plants looked really welcoming (we stayed in). Dog friendly and suitable for all our family (teens to pensioners)
I've just finished my meal and oh goodness I don't think I can recommend this place enough. Little bit of a wait I'm fine with, but the portions were very generous and some of the better food I've had. Thank you for a meal so easy to recommend :)
Went here yesterday but wasn't overly impressed, nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly but food wasn't great. I had the rump steak and chips, steak was lovely but the chips were more like jacket potatoes also ordered peppercorn sauce but it was disgusting. My mum got the chicken skewers with rice and it was swimming in oil/fat and she ate very little. 1 drink each aswell and total cost was £48 which seems steep for what we got
Just had one of the best sandwiches in a long time. Chilli chicken garlic baguette. Dad had a prawn ciabatta . He thoroughly enjoyed it. Said bread was delicious and dk fresh Worth a visit
Stumbled across this place by accident while in Scarborough Town. As it was Sunday, their roast dinner sounded appealing. What more could you ask for on a cold dreary February day. Definitely hit the spot. Was it the best Sunday lunch I've had? Probably not, but it was hot, tasty and excellent value. Two roasts and two pints for just over £30. It is dog friendly, and as always I would prefer they had a separate area for dogs /no dogs, but thats my preference.
