Great coffee place with well balanced coffee. I had the batch which was really well brewed. Tasty vegan options - could do with bigger portions, but it did taste good quality non the less. Would definitely go for coffee and buy the coffee beans which are available. Cool vibe inside and really friendly staff. *EDIT: We had the Avocado on toast and Cherry tomato & vegan feta on toast.
Definitely worth a visit. The classic FVR wrap was delicious and I also tried a few other items from their breakfast menu. Friendly staff and a lovely, clean place.
Best coffee in town, backed up by good food made with quality ingredients. The service is great too - really friendly and helpful staff (young guy with long hair and cool piercings). Don't be put off with how basic this place looks, it's so much better than anything else in Scarborough.
I’ve visited the Brew bar several times now. You are always welcomed with a warm friendly greeting. The comfort of the Brew Bar is excellent and the coffee is absolutely wonderful. I’ve tried various coffees and never being disappointed at all in anyway. So if you’re in the area please call in and give them a try. You will not be disappointed in any way.
🚩 Deleted old 3-star review because someone has seriously taken their eye off the ball with regards to the food. It is getting worse. I am a regular customer and have been since Troost, so I can speak from experience. For the price that you are charging for food, it is just not good enough. If you’re going to charge £10 for some toast or a ham sandwich, at least dress it up a bit - don’t serve it to me bare, as a literal sandwich on a plate with nothing else. No imagination at all. The shakshuka is just eggs on top of some canned tomatoes? Seriously? Why are you not using fresh ingredients? You are charging as if you are. Not sure what’s going on with the kitchen any more, revolving door of staff maybe? The owners might be focussing so hard on Wykeham that they don’t realise the Huntriss row branch is running into trouble? Don’t do food if you can’t do it. Focus on the coffee, otherwise the bad food will taint the coffee side of things. Nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand. I will continue to support your business anyway and I hope things improve asap.
