Set in the idyllic North Bay of Scarborough with unique views and an amazing holiday atmosphere, Waves Cafe is the place to be. With the pride in which our trained baristas personally create your coffee, to the smile with which it is served, it is the perfect place to meet with your friends & loved ones, so come and share the warm and friendly atmosphere we have to offer.

Our Roots

The Waves Cafe you see today was founded around 5 years ago, it has evolved over the last few years from the Ice Cream kiosk, with its history going back for at least 100 years that we know of!

Ever since Waves has opened, we’ve been known for our superb, fresh brewed coffee, warm hospitality and incomparable service. In 2010, The Scarborough evening news café tasters gave us a rating of 4.5 out 5 We have also been recognized by locals as serving one of the best coffees in town! FACT!

What sets us apart from the rest

At Waves, we use the very finest coffee beans on the market. Specifically, our 100% Specialty Grade blend, is created directly by The famous Coopers Coffee Company, Our coffee blend is specially selected to work well alongside our REAL rich Belgium chocolate (not the usual powdered stuff!) As a result our whipped mocha has become an attraction of its own!

Our food menu is a variety of home cooked delights. Come to Waves and you’ll be tantalized by a fresh and wide variety of Paninis, Wraps, Burgers, Soups and Salads. Other innovations and considerations, such as iced Coffees, Freshly squeezed juices, Smoothies, free Wi-Fi and consistently gracious service have got us where we are today so if you are looking for a local alternative to the multinational coffee giants you’ve found the place...
