There's a reason there's no one in for breakfast, people don't complain they just never return, the food was somehow burnt yet stone cold, presentation was ok but soon as you start to eat you realise you should of gone somewhere else. I won't be returning. I paid £30 for 2 cold yet overcooked breakfasts. And the coffee machine needs cleaning, there was a strange residue on my coffee like a film.

Hmmmm we have been in chameleon quiet a few times usually for breakfast and Im sorry to say the last visit wasn't great. We wanted pancakes but they didnt have any whichbis fine so I had waffles of which there was 1 with blueberries and maple syrup and my partner ordered French toast with bananas, chocolate sauce and nuts but what she got was a big wedge of what looked and tasted like brioche. The time before that we had fry ups but like this last weeks its wasn't up to there usual standards so overall a little disappointing.

Went for Burn’s evening supper with entertainment. What a great night. 6 courses all delicious. Service impeccable, cocktails made brilliantly. Singer fab. Chefs did a great job and worth every penny. Hoping for a St Patrick’s night!

I celebrated Easter Sunday with a roast beef lunch, at Chameleon. I was impressed, the beef was beautiful & the vegetables varied & plentiful. My only comment really is that I found it a little over facing & hated having to leave anything. It would be great if you could order a smaller portion ( and if you could have a steak knife.) I had no room for the delicious looking roulade, which was large enough to share! I am a senior though, with a decreased appetite. I shall be back to try out the everyday lunch menu, at some point or maybe a coffee with one of the several varieties of .scone. Lovely atmosphere & friendly staff!

Having gone past Chameleon a few times on my early morning runs, I always thought it looked appealing so I arranged a work meeting there and I wasn't disappointed. The breakfast menu looked tasty and included gluten free options (hurrah!). While I didn't opt for a meal this time, I was definitely tempted. I ordered a mug of tea (strong, hot and brought to the table). Then when my guest arrived, he ordered cake and tea and the cake looked amazing. It's a mix of counter and table service so I think this is a place to go if you want to have a lovely atmosphere that will also allow good conversation while you wait for your food and drinks. The staff were very polite and helpful, too. The location is great as it is seconds away from the town centre. I would definitely go again. And since writing the above, I have been back and had a lovely tasty treat by way of a cooked breakfast, which was beautifully cooked and at the table in minutes. Well done all!
