Had my birthday meal here recently when on holiday in Scarborough, Loved the food ! Very tasty and flavoursome. Atmosphere was great and the man who served us was lovely and so welcoming. A definite hidden gem.
Went there for a late evening meal. The staff was friendly, we were the only ones in the restaurant so the meals came quick. The ambience is lovely, they did get our order wrong but we were in a rush so ate and left. Price is reasonable.
We came with a group and will definitely be back. All of us enjoyed our food, really good flavours and perfect level of heat! The pickle tray was great! The desiccated coconut was a game changer, it brought a different dimension to a pickle tray! Thanks again!
Just finished an incredible dinner here at Eastern Paradise. Eastern Paradise continues to be our favourite spot for authentic Indian cuisine — and a big part of that is down to the amazing service from Aal and his nephew Sajid. He incredibly hardworking, well-spoken, and always carries himself with calm confidence. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. It’s clear he takes great pride in his role and cares deeply about every guest’s experience. His friendly attitude, respectful nature, and professional manner made the entire evening feel special. Big respect to Sajid — he made us feel right at home. If you’re coming here, trust me, you’re in good hands!”
Empty on arrival on a Saturday night. We cannot fault the cleanliness and staff, but the food was a huge disappointment. 4 people costing £127. The cost wouldn't have been an issue had the food been fulfilling. They use way too much red dye. One order was wrong. I'm lactose intolerant and made them aware. The starter was nice. The naan bread was the best part. The dips were lovely. A staff member recommended a coconut-based chicken masala, but it arrived in a bright red sauce. I ended up taking the chicken out and not attempting the sauce. My bf ordered a prawn masala, he too just took the prawns out as the sauce was awful. I've had very painful stomach cramps for the past 2 days. Will not be returning.
