Excellent Meal and Truly Wonderful Service! 5/5 Stars My recent dinner at Licorella was an absolutely fantastic experience. I simply must rave about the food, particularly the fish, which was utterly superb. It was perfectly cooked, fresh, and seasoned beautifully—easily the highlight of the meal. Beyond the delicious food, the service truly stood out. Our server was exceptionally attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed. More than that, the service was genuinely sympathetic and warm, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. From the culinary skill to the gracious hospitality, Licorella provides a top-tier dining experience. Highly recommended!
Offers Spanish and Italian food. Had a very pleasant waiter, all smiles and polite. There is plenty to order. Starter was nice and arrived at a reasonable time. It was quite busy but that was fine for waiting for food. Had a nice atmosphere, would definitely come again. The toilets could do with a bit of upgrade and clean.
An unexpected knockout - Licorella on York Place! My wife and I visited Licorella today and honestly didn’t expect to be blown away the way we were. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and refined - but the real star of the evening was Johan, whose service was absolutely flawless. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. And the food… outstanding. Every course felt crafted with care, depth, and real confidence in flavour. Worth every penny - easily one of the strongest dining experiences I’ve had in the UK. Maybe not “the best ever,” but without question a serious contender. They know exactly what they’re doing. If anything, I walked away slightly disappointed that my tip didn’t reflect how impressed I was - they deserved more. But we’ll definitely be back, and they’ll get it next time. Bravo, Licorella. A real gem and a must for anyone who appreciates fresh, tasty and very well presented high quality food accompanied by friendly attentive service. Have already made a repeat visit to try other dishes on the menu. Great cocktails too ! Go there and you won’t be disappointed!
Mixed reviews with the food. The starter was lovely as was the main . The spare ribs . But my partners main was over cooked and tasted burnt that was the pasta dish .
