Lovely welcome and shown to nice table very clean and tidy. Soon filled up as not a large place. We ordered a meal to share poppadoms n pickles. Food was delicious piping hot as were the plates. Lamb was very tender. You can take your own alcohol and they provide the glasses. Will Def return when back in Scarborough.
What a truly lovely curry. From the crisp poppadoms with a superb pickle tray through 4 small perfectly cooked onion bhajis to a really tasty fish curry. All serviced by kind , helpful staff. Simply if you are in Scarborough visit Nishat Spice
The food is absolutely fantastic, service is so attentive and price is incredibly great value for money.
As a visitor to Scarborough, I was ordering blind. However, my delivery arrived super-quickly, probably only 20 minutes after ordering. So it was piping hot. I had lamp patia (£8.90) which was really good, sagh bhaji (£4.90) which wasn't, really nice pappadums (80p) and various pickles plus pilau rice (£3.50), which I always thought was yellow but wasn't. Total bill £23.85 after a generous discount of nearly £5. The only black mark was that I'd ordered disposable cutlery, which didn't arrive, so I had to eat the meal with the only cutlery in my hotel room - a teaspoon! Different, but then I could have gone native and used my fingers.....
We have had lovely food from here lots of times. Most recent delivery was very disappointing. Driver was very RUDE. Key safe and my amputation on notes. Steep steps to front mean I can’t get out. He told me if I didn’t go outside he would not leave the food. Prawn puri lovely. Lamb pasanda had rock hard lumps of uncooked mutton. Inedible. Absolutely revolting. What a shame.
