Just been to The View for an outstanding Sunday lunch. Mixed meat serving board, well stacked with meat, lovely creamy mash, perfect rosemary roasties and the best Yorkshire puddings. Accompanied by delicious seasonal veg and cauliflower cheese. Everything was really well cooked and tasted amazing. It’s no wonder the chef is up for awards even after just a few months of opening the restaurant. And the waiting staff were lovely, friendly with just the right level of attentiveness. Will definitely be back very soon

Our young waitress was absolutely delightful — attentive, friendly, and full of humour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The food was fantastic — the fish and chips were some of the best we’ve had anywhere! Perfectly crispy batter, flaky fish, and deliciously cooked chips. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The decor is beautiful too — bright, stylish, and relaxing, with a wonderful atmosphere that lives up to the name. Altogether, a five-star experience. We’ll definitely be returning! ---
Outstanding quality food with sea views from the restaurant's cliff top position. It was a shame that there were only 4 diners this evening and service was slow. The food was exceptional in both quality and value for money. I'd recommend the Yorkshire chicken and apple crumble cheesecake.
Have just been here for dinner. Was magical. Fantastic food and amazing staff who are kind, caring and attentive. A real credit to you. Thank you it was a wonderful evening and was real find.
2 of us visited on a fairly quiet evening in January. Quite a small menu but the food was very good. However, the speed of service was appalling. We arrived at 6pm prompt. Food and drinks order was taken at 6:15; a couple of glasses of wine, bread, a cheese board and a charcuterie board. Wine arrived at 6:30 and the food (including the bread!) didn't arrive til 7pm after chasing! This was with only 2-3 other tables in our section of the restaurant. I dread to think what it would have been like if busy!
