A Proper Cracking Curry in Scarborough! Popped in with the missus on the 10th of October, '25. We were only up for a short break and were absolutely gagging for a bit of proper, homemade comfort grub, you know the sort. The staff were polite and really welcoming, actually. They showed real care, which was lovely. Kept checking in on us and the other tables to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the dinner. Couldn't fault them, really. Absolutely cracking meal! The food was spot on — great taste and well presented. The portions were generous, but not daft (you know, too much), and they're well worth the money, a proper bang for your buck actually. Very reasonable prices! I'd definitely give a shout out to the mixed kebab starter - proper gear, that - and the chicken tikka, tarka daal, and lamb bhuna mains. If you're a desi/Asian customer, they've got the spice levels just right. Hats off to the chef, Mr. Saiful, his cooking skills are fabulous. No wonder they’ve bagged the 'best chef's award' twice - we only found that out later, but well deserved, that is. Mr. J / Javed, the maître d', was a good bloke and looked after us brilliantly. He was very polite and steered us through the menu to make sure we picked the right stuff. He knows his onions! Would definitely recommend it and we'll be popping back in next time we're up north. Easily the best place in Scarborough for a curry and kebabs if you're after Bangladeshi/Indian - a solid 10/10 from us.
We booked a table for four for a family reunion. Had a great night. Service & was pleasant & unobtrusive. The food was nicely presented & well spiced. My vegetarian dishes were flavoursome with a good variety of vegetables. Ended the evening with complimentary Bailey's, nice touch
Ordered chicken jalfrezi, chicken tikka, mixed kebab, plain naan, garlic naan dessert sweet rice. Absolutely amazing taste, fresh. Thank you to the kind staff and also everyone working hard in the kitchen! Travelled from London to Scarborough and found this restaurant, can not go wrong, wonderful experience. Will come again and highly recommended. All the best.
Our first visit here, and we will definitely return. We were highly satisfied by the food and service. Good sized portions and excellent quality and value for money. The best Indian we have had so far in Scarborough, highly recommended.
Amazing food and service. Loved the variety of unique dishes. Especially the mussels, the korma and lamb silsila. We will be back.
