Sister on the counter is so rude it’s disgusting. Never listens, shouts at the staff and can’t get an order right, I work away, come home and it’s local, she just can’t get an order right but quick to take the money off you. This is the issue in the country. This. Cash only is why we need digital ID. Can’t even get an order right, we all make mistakes but cash only isn’t, and not offering to resolve it is shocking. You can’t knock the food though, it’s good

Found this by accident as wanted something different from fish and chips. Ordered sweet and sour Cantonese style, came with rice. Chicken in Satay Sauce, again came with rice. Prawn toast. My utter days the food was beautiful ,shared with my family and absolutely loads. I thought they had forgotten a part of my order as it was only £20! All order was perfect. And the customer service was great. A hidden gem for us. We will certainly come again!

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Absolutely vile, prawn toast was just burnt bread no filling and had obviously been heated up from the night before. Salt and pepper chicken portion was tiny and the chicken was hard and chewy. Meat spring roll had a foul taste like it was off and hardly any meat. The curry sauce was inedible and way to spicy not enjoyable at all. Went in the bin. Don't waste your money

It is my first negative food review ever as I think when it comes to taste preferences, they are very subjective. However, as my experience of food in Cheungs was appalling, I decided to share my review. As the Mother's Day treat at the end of the day, my daughters and I wanted to treat ourselves to a Chinese takeaway. The noodle dish I ordered smelt of burned food and although I hate wasting food, it ended up in the bin as I could not force myself to eat even half of the portion. My daughters' sweet and sour pork was equally off putting as the sauce tasted like a mix of strawberry jam and vinegar without a trace of vegetables. Its artificial color suggested that it was devoid of natural and nutritious ingredients. The only edible food was rice and prawn crackers which was the only thing we could fill ourselves with paying over £20 for our order. We will definitely not risk celebrating special occasions with rice and prawn crackers again:)

What a waste of money. The meal went directly into the bin. Curry sauce was watered down so no flavour whatsoever. Sweet and sour chicken balls were raw with the sauce tasting like a bowl of sugar. Egg fried rice was burnt with what looked like snot hanging off the rice. Prawn toast did not taste of anything it was plain fried bread. Chips were greasy. A total disaster. Was not going to risk eating it for fear of food poisoning. Stay clear of this place.
