came here yesterday and me and my partner at 1st was amazed with the staff there one gentleman helped us collect the toys out of the 2p machines more than happy to help even short staffed as they was he never complained or huffed will defo be coming back to this arcade not 1ns did I feel like I was making his day hard or being a burden had different selection of prizes to win than the over arcades as well
Nasty guy behind change counter, shouting at kids on claw machines for daring to try look through side window to judge distance! Not that it was gonna grab anyway. Contrast that to silver dollar next door, kid was interrupted on machine to be emptied so the guy gave her a free toy from it. Legend!!!!
The take away kiosk attached is God awful, served a cold hotdog only to ask for a warm one and it was stuck in the microwave, as where the cheesey chips a burger that looked like it had fallen in to the depths of hell with awful looking onions on it. The attendant wasn't really customer faced as a small order had to be told a few times. There are many a place to eat in Scarborough this ain't one of them.
Claw machines set to literally lowest level they can be so minimum prizes are won and when complained about to staff the responses were 'thats just how they're set' and 'i just work here so i don't know why they are like that' just out for pure profit instead of a healthy win-profit ratio. Wont be going back
I think this is the only arcade in Scarborough now that still have 2p fruit machines so good for people that don't want to lose fortunes like in the other arcades. Machines on around 80% payouts I'd say so could be worse
