A takeaway is a real treat and Hung Sing ticks all the boxes. The food was delicious and hot and the staff are lovely. If you want to have a take-out treat one night, then I recommend Hung Sing.
Cash only. Always annoying. Pretty expensive for Scarborough. Comparible prices to London where I've been living for the last 15 years. Ribs were nice but expensive for what you get. Spring roll was huge and lovely. Chicken in black bean sauce was bland and sauce too thick & gloopy. Didn't enjoy it at all. Chicken was a bit 'wet & slippery' which isn't pleasant. Wife had beef in the same sauce. Beef a bit spongy. Again, not the best. And a hygiene rating of 3. Must do better in my opinion. The search for a good Chinese, goes on. Front of house girl was lovely by the way.
Cash only. With no cash point near by it's a pain if you don't have it. Also makes me question why?
Had the food delivered, after ordering online. Didn't have to wait long for it to arrive and was still hot. I had Kung po beef and boiled rice, which was spicy and full of flavour! I'm glad I've finally found a decent Chinese to order from....the food and service was excellent!
Absolutely delicious. We were a big group so had both the 3 and 4 person set meals. They differ in dishes so we had a big selection of different dishes. I can honestly say all were superb and we stuffed ourselves...and still have some left!!
