Closest thing you'll get to a spicebag on the east coast of england. Order salt & pepper chips and salt & pepper chicken. Dump them into the same bowl/plate/bag if youre commited, chow down. Costs less than two spicebags back home, contains about 3 spicebags worth of food. 12 quid i paid thereabouts. Ill be reheating half tomorrow lol The lads are alright too! Friendly as you get in a fast paced middle of town takeaway really. And again, for the ones who know what a spice bag is: trust me. this is the one. Id give 5 stars if only they offrered the two salt & pepper dishes together (and in a bag). But seriously, this is as close as youll get. Was in my hand in 5 minutes too.
Bought a meal for five people was overall worse than the average Chinese, a lot of things tasted like they had been cooked the day before the chips were cold and rubbery and stale, prawn crackers were soft and chewy crispy beef was not crispy , sweet and sour had not one piece of pineapple and the tub was half full. This place used to be really good. It's a shame like so many before it truly feels like this place has gone downhill in a big way. Cost cutting, penny pinching on everything and literally zero care about serving us nice food. Unfortunately it made the 5 of us regret ordering from here and we certainly won't be back.
I've ordered food here for over ten years , and always loved the food, not sure what's going on new staff or people who own it . But tonight's food is very disappointing, rice is grey in colour, chips over done, and I always have skinny noodles that isn't what I got, when I called i was told they don't do them anymore, I wasn't told this when I ordered at the counter , prices have also gone up. Such a shame, I won't be coming back. Food was inedible, tried to share pictures but its not letting me. even the veg was rotten.
Really nice takeaway Chinese food. Quick friendly service. Food was nice and hot too.
Tried this place for first time, food good but when got home, found spring rolls missing which ordered and paid for, won't use again.
