Seems odd to rate a car park but this one seems to be particularly for the purpose of enjoying the view of Scarborough South bay. There's also an information board about the cliff slippages in the area. And the car park is free!

Free car park fantastic views. You can walk to Scarborough If you are fit enough to walk back up the cliff road! The rocks on coast below are great for crabbing. Kids caught a large crab🦀 and we saw some fish in the rock pools 🐟.

Really good free car park, it’s a lovely walk down to the beach with spectacular views of Scarborough sea front. The car park has easy access to the gardens for a scenic afternoon.

Brilliant free car park. You can park here for free for 3 hours, but I doubt they actually check. We walked down the coast into Scarborough bay took about 20 minutes on the way back we went through the town and it took about 40 minutes. Both a lovely walk.
