Great spot to park for a day at the beach and yo explore south bay. There is a toilet but it's a charge off 50p With the car park been underground it's nice and cool
Decent underground d car park handy for the south end of the seafront at Scarborough being next to a roundabout just under the Grand Hotel. Parking was £7.20 for 5 hours if I remember correctly which is reasonable I think considering it's proximity to the seafront and the town centre is also just 400 m up the hill behind you also. Safe parking available well into the evening and free after 6pm, not worth taking the risk of parking in dimly lit side streets in my opinion.
Its a good place to park as close to the beach, but not a massive amount of spaces. Parked once before but no space this time. A bit dark and not as clean as it could be. We ended up parking in town centre and walking down to beach.
Close easy access to the beach and front bays are a little tight in my pickup but its to be expected
Underground car parking. Beware ticket machines not working. Parking wardens issue parking infringement notice, even while you are trying to find a working machine. Leave someone in the car for 5mins until you get a machine ticket.
