HSBC Scarborough

I went into my Scarborough branch today as I was having difficulty logging on to my online banking app on my new device. A young lady called Sarah Wright was so friendly and helpful. She talked me through,step by step patiently and without patronising me . She was also able to advise me and book an appointment for a future investment. She is without a doubt anasset to the branch.

Well how fantastic an experience. I was found a convenient appointment time and location by i thing it was Judy in bridlington . Reason was i needed a foriegn currency card as starting to travel again after covid and the whole world has changed. My dilema was i dont do internet banking and it was needed for my to avoid having to take and use cash. Initially a little frustrated but when Judy explained how much i could save and i can still keep and physical cards and not have to rely titally on my phone i was more engaged. She also said they had a sevice that would gelp me get set up ... win win Then my apponment today was with Sophie. What lovely lass. Really polite. Very understanding of my lack of tech. Taught me a thing or 2 of how to get the best out of my device in and amogst helping me set up. She didnt need to do this. It didnt take her long but it made me very happy . She explained really well in easy to use language and at a speed i was comfortable with . She should consider a career in teaching if she ever decides a change in career. She explained some other products i may be intersted in , which i might, no hard sell.. how refreshing . I truely think you have a very special employee . I hope she gers an award because im sure i am not alone in her helpfulness. She has many years ahead if her and i wish her all the best. Customer service 11/ 10 defo Person skills 10/10 . Skills and ability 10/10 from what i can tell . And Judy, Trudy cant be sure of her name is great too . Thankyou both . P.s when i paid for my parking with contactless at brunswick my phone went ping , clarifying fir me i had indeed paid. Let the fun begin. Please tell sophie xx

Had an appointment today, 5/8/25, with Sophie Skelton. This young lady was a joy to be with. She was well informed and sorted my account and my wife’s efficiently and quickly instead of a potential 2 hours we left in half an hour, totally satisfied. Thank you Sophie for being so kind and helpful

Had a 10/10 experience at HSBC, Charlie was very informative and helpful. Went out of her way to solve my issues. Thank you!
