This is my personal experience of making an attempt to buy a car here. As the business is mainly closed, I made an appointment to arrive on a Friday to view the cars for sale. I saw a few potential purchases and eventually settled on a Peugeot 107. I paid the deposit and arranged to pick it up the following day. Later on, on Friday I received a call to let me know that the registration on the receipt was wrong. The number plates aren't visible because he cars are parked nose to tail outside. The call came as I tried to arrange the insurance. Unfortunately a warning appeared on my screen. Lex sent the "proper" registration number in a later text and told me that he would call me to let me know when I could pick it up. No call was received in the following days. By Wednesday I was just passing by and Lex informed me that the car had failed the MOT because of a ball joint and it was going to be replaced by the end of the week. During our conversation I picked up certain ques and realised that something was amiss. Then I decided to withdraw my interest and requested a refund of the deposit. This was received the following day. I wish to make it clear that you must exercise caution if you are dealing with this business. Many of the reviews paint a very different picture and may not accurately depict the real nature of this operation.

This garage was recommended to me by a couple of friends and seemed to be very trustworthy. I purchased my first car from them this month (Silver Ford Fiesta) and couldn’t be anymore satisfied with the service and condition of the car. He went to great lengths to ensure the car was road worthy along with a full service and even gave me a 3 month warranty. I would highly recommend this garage and would definitely give it 5 stars.
