Twice this week I have been to Newlands Laundry only to find them closed. And even when they’re open they close at 2pm. In the event I took my business to Falsgrave Laundry who also gave an oap discount. I’ll try Newlands one more time and if they’re shut again, then I’m done with them.
Paid £30 up front to have a throw and duvet washed and dried. Went to collect the items and they maintained I had not paid and I had to pay again to collect. I don't make mistakes about paying out that amount of cash, but it was my word against theirs. Fortunately, I knew exactly when I went in and I asked them to check their till roll. I got my money refunded eventually. Daylight rsobbery. If you pay up front, get a receipt.
We are away camping...drove 40 minutes as it's says it was open got there and closed 👌 definitely need to update your opening hours on this site so others don't do the same!! I recommend going to Trenham Dry Cleaners YO12 7PE it's 6 mins away from this not open shop!
Had a last minute problem with some commercial and it was solved immediately in a calm and friendly manner. Thank you!
