Falsgrave Road Post Office

After spending way too long attempting to change my driving license address online and renew it, I went into Falsgrave Road Post Office. The service was really efficient - it only took ten minutes - but the woman behind the counter was unfriendly to the point of rudeness. She cut up my old license and I asked if I'd get it back. No, she said. I began to ask what would happen if I was stopped by the police for some reason, and she interrupted me and said - in what I can only describe as an aggressive tone - that if I would just wait, she'd give me a temporary license. There was absolutely no need to take that tone. Renewing a license isn't something anyone does often. A simple 'I'm going to cut up your license now, but don't worry, I'll give you a temporary one to use till your new one arrives' would be a much better approach. Perhaps she'd had a bad day but as a customer, I really object to being spoken to in this manner. It really was deplorable service. This isn't my local post office - thank goodness. The staff are all kind and cheerful in there.

Younger staff brilliant 👏 but that oldish lady ,is very rude ,no explanation to anything i asked, arrogant and very misleading, i avoid this post office the best i can due to her ignorance, I'd rather go main post office to send parcels etc etc.

I just could not believe that anyone in a post office could so be helpful. This is the best post office I have be to in years.

The service at this post office is a real mixed bag. The poor star rating is unfortunately due to one particular staff member. Her customer service attitude is appalling. I dread her being the next, or only member of staff available. She is officious, grumpy and rude. Anyone using this post office will recognise her from the description as she is the same with all customers, no matter their age or circumstances. Must do better - at least try to smile and show some friendliness and empathy. How on earth do people like this keep their customer facing roles? It’s a shame because other members of staff are not like this. She gives them all a bad rep.

Used the post office to renew my driving licence and the cashier was amazing. We had to take my mugshot four times, apparently couldn't see me eyes and the light was bad. Had my own photos hoot going. Would be better if I could have smiled. Nothing was a problem for her. Massive thank you.
