The best cheese scones I’ve had, also the lemon and elderflower cake were delicious . We went for holidays last month, I love Scarborough looking forward to go back special for the cheese scones! Thank you :))

Brilliant staff. Very inclusive menu, meat veggies and vegans. Superb selection of hot and cold sandwiches plus a huge array of tempting fresh cakes at reasonable prices.

I came here this morning with my mum and purchased rocky road and brownies. They were delicious. However, the service was quite poor. Me and my mum are quite indecisive when it comes to ordering food, so we were deciding what to get for a few minutes. It was clear that the staff were agitated when we asked them questions about the food, evident when they gave each other a look as if saying "here we go again". When we did eventually order, the total came out as £10.60. My mum gave the lady £21, asking for £10.40 back. To many, this should be simple maths. However, the lady gave us £8.40 for some reason. My mum kindly explained to her that she gave her £21 and simply wishes for her £10.40 change. However, this lady doubled down, saying that my mum gave her £11. How could this be the case if she gave us £8.40 change? She eventually gave us the £10.40. It is sad to know that people can't do simple maths and it is for a fact that me and my mum will never come back again.

I was visiting overnight across the road and they recommended this place I bought a slice of quiche and some cakes, drove home some 3 hours away…and want to go back tomorrow..sadly it’s to far The food is fabulous and so tasty the cheese scones where fantastic, I’m not sure who the bakers are but they are excellent The 2 young ladies who served me where polite and very smiley

I’ve just had the most delicious cherry cheesecake from this bakery. It looked nice but what pleasantly surprised me was the perfect balance of sweetness and tangy cherries, topped with a think crunchy layer. My partner had a ham and cheese sandwich and was just as impressed- you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The service was polite and efficient, which is perfect foe a short lunch break.
