Parked my car outside a competing shop, applied hand sanitiser in my car, walked to Johnstone's, got about half way down the shop and was told I needed to go back and apply hand sanitiser. I know there is hand sanitiser in every shop, but I'm happy with a polite "oh, we have some sanitiser if you'd like some", but not a pretty categorical, put some on or you're not staying. It isn't government advice and I doubt it's the companies either.
