I was surprised, I didn't know it was there, lots of ingredients for different types of Asian cooking, it is a bit cluttered, but very helpful staff
Absolutely superb little shop - I've made my own curries for many years after being taught by a Bangladeshi friend who was a chef in a Tandoori restaurant. The choice of spices and fresh produce here is excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful. I'm far happier patronising small 'local' shops like this than ordering online. A great resource for me even if it is 40 mile round trip - it's worth it!
Excellent customer service. You can pretty much find most of the Nigerian foods you want in their store. Also, the prices of food items are reasonable. I am impressed.
Absolutely a home for African and Asian delicacies. If you are a Nigerian and lives in Scarborough then worry no more, Little Asia has got all the Nigerian food items you need.
Dont ever buy vegetables in this shop , they are very expensive ! Vegetables in this shop dont have any prices labelled, for a single bottle gourd they charged £ 4.90 which is not even a 1 kg in size 😀 . Appreciate that you replied to the above post ! Please label the prices for the vegetables as it is not fair to surprise the costumers and the excuse for not labelling is not justifying anything ! And by the way I am not comparing with any markets , there is no question of comparing with a India market as they prices are labelled everywhere . Thank you 😊
