Had an excellant stay from Monday to Friday couldn,t ask for any better a service from Trudy the host nothing was any trouble. Breakfast brought at time you asked for piping hot and freshly cooked. Room 5 a lovely room with a four poster bed with seats and lots of space for luggage and clothes Bathroom 1st class with good shower available, Very well located beside station. bus stops for Whitby and Bridlington very close.... WELL WORTH VISITING OF GOING TO SCARBOROUGH ON HOLIDAY.. HOST PREFERS ADULTS ONLY. Five star rating because from entering to leaving felt like home from home. Will be back next year when venturing to a hidden trasure guest house
We stayed in the self catering apartment just around the "corner" from the Corner House, but under the same owners Trudie and Steve. Easy booking experience, superb welcome and a large but not flashy welcome pack. Parking permits provided for the duration of our stay for zone D2. We parked outside most days very easily. The location is not chocolate box sea view, but it's great. 300 yards from Aldi, Wetherspoons, Sports Direct and 50 yards to the police station! But on a very quiet street. You are above a shop with your own private entrance which leads to a lounge with large dining table, a spacious kitchen and big bathroom. On the second floor are two bedrooms with comfy beds. We had a great stay. We walked to South Bay via the paths under Scarborough Art Gallery. A different path for every day of the week. And north bay was accessible via a variety of walkable routes. A fantastic holiday. Many thanks.
"Had a great stay during a very busy working weekend in Scarborough, it feels like home from home. Great location for everything. Lovely breakfast, just what we needed for the busy day ahead. Very friendly landlady and very accommodating of guest needs. Very comfortable bed with amazing feather quilt. Hope we can visit again soon"
