North Bay Guest House

Stayed 2 nights in the garden room . I've not slept that well for years. Donna the host is lovely the place was immaculate. 5 mins walk from the beach and the open air theater. Couldn't recommend more .

Fantastic stay at the North Bay Guest House, Donna and Mark are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble, it’s very well presented and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to offer and more then enough for your appetite. We mentioned in passing that we were there for my wife’s birthday and arrived to a bottle of Prosecco left for free in the room. Great location, just 10 min walk to the open air theatre or 15/20 walk into town. We will defiantly be back. Don’t stay anywhere else in Scarborough. Just here. 👌🏼

A lovely place to stay in. Very comfortable excellent hosting and the breakfast is amazing. Definitely coming back to this home from home guest House. Already booked my next break. Nothing is too much trouble for your fabulous owners to make your stay even more enjoyable. Five stars isn't enough to express your stay in this jewel of a guesthouse in an excellent location for the North Bay of Scarborough.

The welcome was second to none. Donna & Mark were terrific hosts and I felt really well looked after. The breakfast is 10 out of 10, freshly made and very tasty. This is a fantastic venue to spend a few days at and the room was meticulously clean. Thanks very much Donna and Mark you are both marvellous and deserve to do well in business. Kind regards Mick

Where do I even start! Our stay at North Bay Guest House was absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble for the owners Donna and Mark. Welcoming, friendly and beyond helpful with any questions or queries we had about the area and local facilities. We stayed in the family room with our 7 year old son who is on the autism spectrum and some things can get a little overwhelming for him but Donna reassured us that his "little quirks" were fine. The room itself was spacious with lovely decor and the beds were very comfortable. There was ample storage and hanging space for our belongings and the Wi-Fi was a godsend, allowing our son to play on his tablet when in the room and us to sign into our Netflix on the tv! Breakfast was amazing! Mark is an excellent cook, with high quality ingredients that were cooked to perfection (I had avoided the scrambled eggs on the first morning as I am very fussy and hate it when they are dry and overcooked) when I saw my husband's scrambled eggs I was extremely jealous and promptly opted for them the following morning! The sausages were delicious, and again you could tell from the taste and consistency that they were good quality sausages. Also on offer aside from a "full English" were a good selection of cereals and pastries and an option to have scrambled eggs & smoked salmon with the additions of plenty of tea, coffee and juice. Donna does all the cleaning herself and a massive shout out to her too...the place is absolutely spotless! We had a lovely welcome awaiting us in our room as we arrived, chilled drinks, sweets for the little one and bottled water as well as a kettle and mugs with ample supplies of tea and coffee, much more than we had expected. I cannot praise this establishment or Donna and Mark highly enough! We had a wonderful, welcoming, relaxing stay and hope to return in the future
