What a delightful stay at Hotel Sylvern House! From the moment I arrived, the owners welcomed me with open arms and genuine hospitality. They took the time to personally show me to my room, providing clear instructions on using the key and happily answering all of my questions. The room itself was impeccably equipped with everything one could need, from a kettle stocked with tea bags to a cozy bed, a TV for entertainment, and a spacious shower complete with shampoo and even a hair dryer! Plus, the hotel's prime location next to the embankment offers breathtaking views of the ocean, making it the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Lovely clean comfortable room, breakfast amazing, Parking permit on arrival for car during stay. My 4 year old twins were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Richard and Vicky who are lovely hosts.
Lovely welcome and all round fabulous stay. Compact room but everything we could need. Breakfast was gorgeous and more than enough. Would highly recommend.
Staying here for work for 5 nights, it is sparkling clean and the owner went above and beyond getting me settled/making sure I understood everything security wise. Perfect little guest house xx
Will come back for sure, once I am in the area. I was very glad about location, which is a half-hour walk to everything, the loaded breakfast (thanks!) and the professionality of this small place. A sea promenade with benches for picknick is a mere 100 yards away. Ocean view? Sort of as well. Seagulls are for free. Cheers!
