The Meltham Guest House Scarborough

Just got back from a lovely stay at the meltham, room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Joe the owner is really lovely and always checking to see if we needed anything, will definitely stay again.

We booked for 2026 instead of 2025 and didn't find out until we got there. Joe was no only accommodating, but really cool about it and fixed it in no time. The rooms were lovely. Looking forward to my next stay

I came to the meltham guest house with my mum and daughter for a lovely 3 nights stay! We was welcomed by Joe and was helped with anything that was needed . Room was very clean and comfortable and honestly was the best stay we’ve had in Scarbrough . Mostly down too now nice and welcoming Joe was to us! Would highly recommend and we will 100% be staying again!

I had a fantastic two-night stay at The Meltham Guest House. The location is perfect—just a quick two-minute walk to the beach, with a cozy pub only 50 yards away for enjoying local ales, and a charming café literally steps from the front door. The owner is incredibly supportive and attentive, ensuring guests feel comfortable and have everything they need. The room was clean, well-kept, and had a lovely, welcoming feel. The combination of convenience, comfort, and the owner’s genuine hospitality made this stay memorable. Great place and great hosts This guest house is really lovely, well presented and very clean. Host was fab, nothing was too much trouble for him. When we arrived the greeting was lovely and he took the time to explain the area, our location and the area. Would highly recommend this place if you want somewhere nice to stay with a great centralised location. If we return to Scarborough to stay we will certainly be trying to secure a room here.
