I suppprted a gentleman here for a couple of nights so he could spend time with his family. He absolutely loved his stay. Saying that Pete made him laugh. WOW, amazing B&B. Brilliant hosts, perfect rooms and a breakfast to keep you full until late on in day. Hospitality tray had a fantastic selection of teas, lovely hot chocolate and more. My bed was comfiest ever. Made to feel at home and so welcoming. By far our favourite B&B in Scarborough now. Will definitely be returning, wether it be for work or leisure.
We had a fantastic stay at the Monico Guest House in Scarborough. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly hosts, Peter, Rhona and Olli, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. The guest house itself is beautifully modern, immaculately clean, and has a wonderfully homely feel. Even from the outside, it looks so inviting—charming and well-kept, with a real sense of care and pride in every detail. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the seafront shops and local attractions, making it perfect for exploring Scarborough. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide range of delicious options to suit all tastes—fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented. We would highly recommend the Monico Guest House to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. It’s clear that Peter and Rhona go above and beyond to make every guest’s experience special. We will definitely be returning.
Stayed over a couple nights with my partner, couldn't fault room or service in anyway. Peter & Rhona were exceptional hosts and the breakfast was spot on. Will definitely stay over again. 👌🏼☺️💕
Beautiful guest house. The rooms are beautifully decorated, warm, bright and give you that comfort like you have at home. The hosts, Rhona and Peter, are great. They welcome you like friends not just guests and they are very accommodating. For breakfast I had a full English and it was lovely perfect portion size and great quality. All in all the Monico guest house has great hosts and a lovely atmosphere. I can't wait for my next visit.
Excellent guest house. Peter and Rhona are wonderful people and really great hosts. Monico is in a really good position for all activities. The breakfast is amazing.
