Had a weekend booked for a family catch up the hotel was situated within 5 minutes walk of the sea front views the place is very clean and the room was the same with a very comfortable bed and a great on-suite shower and bath room just couldn't fault it. Breakfast was fantastic value and cooked to order and arrived piping hot too staff were very friendly and professional and the owner, Linda, who went out of her way to make sure everything was as you would expect, Linda thanks again for your hospitality we will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely lovely staff - from my first email checking booking to arrival and throughout my stay. Parking was on street but hotel had scheme where it was cheap. Room had been refurbished including new windows, bathroom, carpet and decoration. Small lift was really handy as I'd hurt my ankle. I had an lovely evening meal and a few drinks in the bar. Breakfast was really good and I chatted to the other guests. A proper traditional hotel where I felt welcome and safe.

Brilliant staff food fantastic breakfast and cooked nice and fresh with local free range eggs. The room needed some TLC comfortable bed but some stains on linen Bathroom not good shower temp uneven, the step into bathroom was not good due to space between bed and door it was a bit dangerous. However the Hotel is brilliant with nice bar area an excellent place to stay and i would and Will be going again. Thank you. Melvin.

My friend and I have just returned from 2 nights in this hotel as we attending a play at Stephen Joseph Theatre ... from start to finish we had such an enjoyable experience. The staff were really lovely, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and all areas of the hotel had a lovely, safe atmosphere. The food was really tasty, the portion sizes wete just right for us and, apart from a mixup on our part regarding food not being served on that particular Sunday night, we loved everything about this place. At a budget price, we didn't think it would be on a par with The Ritz, but the hotel exceeded our expectations in all departments and we will definitely stay again. Easy to get down to the lovely clean and sandy beach and seafront (especially to The Harbour Bar for ice cream delights and more!). Thank you to everyone there x

Great b & b. Stayed two nights solo female, room was decorated nicely had everything I needed and more. Looked freshly renovated. Work going on outside so hotel is getting facelift. Breakfast excellent and cheap. All members of staff I engaged with were helpful and pleasant. Slightly on the edge of town but no issues walking back late at night and the price for the large single room (was a double) was excellent
